MedSec is an active participant in helping move the cybersecurity healthcare community forward and participates in a number of standards and best practice committees involved in furthering cybersecurity for medical products.
Overview
We're looking for highly talented, self-motivated individuals eager to get in on the ground floor of a healthcare technology solution provider. Medical Device Research talent will combine lifelong computer skills and tenacious problem solving to perform Medical Device Research and data entry.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Assist in collecting and capturing various types of research, including web research
- Assist in cataloging and correlations of information regarding medical device characteristics and properties
- Drive and implement improvements and capabilities in line with product development goals
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and solve emerging, interesting business problems.
Experience Requirements:
- Detail-oriented, process-focused and task-driven
- Ability to quickly assess risk
- Ability to find patterns
- Ability to drive towards solutions
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to own and drive small-medium sized projects with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Preference to those with familiarity with medical devices/device cybersecurity and previous experience in a health-related industry - though not a dealbreaker.
